Locanda Cos: a luxury villa in the south of Sicily

Weekend for two people from the 1st October to 30th June in wine resort at Vittoria (province of Ragusa). The wine resort Locanda COS, is a 19th century UNESCO ancient villa, situated inside the huge COS wineyard's. Famous sicilian cellar, COS is an important winery for your wine tour in Sicily and generally speaking in Italy. One particularity of the cellar is the vinification process in terracotta’s jars (anphorae) which mantains unaltered the aromas and organoleptic characteristics of the wine. The COS cellar owns 140 amphorae, placed partially underground in a suitable resting place away from light, noise and from the external atmosphere: a fascinating and unique scenario in the Sicilian and Italian wine tourism scene. Of course, it is possible to have guided tour of the cellar and wineyard; for the wine tasting, reservation is recommended. Among wines, the most famous one is certainly Cerasuolo di Vittoria classic DOCG, autochthonous grape variety of Ragusa province.

Service: At the special price of 160 €, the resort offers two nights for two people with breakfast included in one of the four suites of 50 square meters , consisting of two rooms plus bathroom. Some suites have a fireplace and panoramic terrace over the wineyards with a wonderful view of the Etna volcano and Hyblean mountains. It's possible to accomodate up to four people in each suite buying the extra double bed (on the booking page under "extras" ). The hotel has an outdoor pool for free use. The catering is done on request under "extra" on the booking page where you can choose half or full board, even in light mode, with fresh and authentic Sicilian products, which vary depending on the season to ensure a high quality of the dishes preparedby chef. Half board (two lunch or two dinners) 80 € p.p. (each meal consists of: appetizer, 1 main course, 1 second, 1 side dish, fruits and dessert, beverages except wines that are sold separately).
