The best time to cherish it? At sunset!
Departing from your accomodation, you will begin your exploration of the South side of Etna.
You will discover the villages at the feet of Mount Etna, and stop at a farm for a tasting of honey and typical Sicilian products. Then, together with your guide, you will continue the tour with the visit of a lava cave, equipped with helmets and torches.
You will then carry on towards the Rifugio Sapienza (1910 mt) where, together with the guide, you will go on a pleasant 30 minutes hike discovering some of the latest lava flows and the Silvestri Craters, active in 1892.
At the end of the excursion you will witness the incredible sunset on Mount Etna!
Departure: 15:30/16:00 (depending on the time of the year)
Return: 20:00/21:00
Pick-up: included in the price from your accomodation in Catania and its outskirts.
The tour will be carried out in a mini-van that can take up to 8 passengers. -

- An advance payment of 100% of the total amount is required for the reservation. The balance is due by cash upon arrival.

- In case of bad weather conditions, if the organizer considers unsafe to operate the experience, you will agree on a new date with your guide. If it is not be possible to arrange a new date, you will be refunded.
