The tour starts and runs along the banks of the Alcantara River and will allow you to admire ancient lava flows that over the centuries have been sculpted by the force of the river, giving us unique shapes and colours.Your expert guide will take you throughout the tour, explaining you the history of the place and letting you discover a corner of paradise that is well preserved from an environmental and landscape point of view.
During the tour you will stop to admire the cuba di Santa Domenica, an ancient Byzantine rural chapel, and the small gorges of Castiglione di Sicilia.You can choose to book 1, 2, 3 or 4 hours horse-riding excursion according to your preferences or to add to the tour a visit to a wine cellar with tasting of wines and typical local products.
