Read moreDon't miss the chance to take part in a basic kitesurfing course in Eastern Sicily, over the Strait of Messina, Catania or Marina di Ragusa. It is one of the windiest locations in Europe and for this reason, it's perfect for those who love kitesurfing.
The course is open to all, allowing beginners to acquire the theoretical and practical knowledge to take on the kite independently.
The picturesque scenery will be a wonderful setting for your active vacation in Sicily.Based on wind and weather conditions, the instructor will choose the most suitable location for the activity.
- The first lesson will be on dry land, and over the course of 2 hours you will learn how to mount, dismount, and control the kite in flight.
- The second lesson will be in the water, during which you will learn how to keep on the board and how to use the power of the kite.
- With all this knowledge it's time for the third lesson, the moment in which you will be ready to set off on the water!
The lessons can take place between 9.00 and 19.00, the time of each lesson will depend on the wind conditions.
Each lesson will be approximately 2 hours.
Once booked online for your first lesson you will be able to choose the programme for the next lessons directly with the instructor. -
What is included
- Kitesurfing basic course consisting of 7 hours (3 lessons).
- Rental of kite, bar and board.
- Insurance.
- Wetsuit, harness, helmet, flotation vest (bookable as an extra).

Booking terms and conditions
- To make a reservation a prepayment of 20% of the total is required.
- The outstanding balance must be paid in cash on the day.

Terms of use
- Kitesurfing depends on the weather and sea conditions. In the case of adverse weather conditions which do not allow for the carrying out of the lesson, you will be able to arrange another date directly with the organiser.
- If another date is not possible, you will be reimbursed the amount already paid.
- The minimum age to participate in the course is 8 years-old. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian.
