Using a simple hot air balloon and heated air, J.E. Montgolfier made the dream of the first free flight come true. It was 1783, over the skies of Paris.
Today, the materials used and balloon flight techniques have evolved, ensuring exceptional safety and a comfortable, relaxing journey. The light of sunrise or sunset will welcome you, offering a unique experience in the blue Sicilian sky. A free flight allows you to drift with the wind and enjoy stunning views of Sicily, admiring its beauty from an unusual and exclusive perspective.

The experience begins with an introductory briefing, during which the pilot explains how the balloon is assembled and the dynamics of flight. It continues with an activity lasting approximately 3 hours in total, including about 1 hour of actual flight. The route may vary depending on weather conditions, making each experience unique. Each participant will receive a flight baptism certificate signed by the pilot, as a keepsake of an exciting day.

After landing, you’ll be welcomed with a pleasant toast of sparkling wine to celebrate the experience… or perhaps your engagement!

Balloon model: Kubicek BB37D, registration I-SICL.
Departure point: Mount Etna area. The balloon requires large open spaces for safe takeoff; the exact launch site will be determined based on weather conditions.
Departure time: sunrise or sunset. The final schedule will be communicated by the crew in the days prior.
Pick-up: available upon request.

If you prefer a different type of experience, you can choose between a group flight or a private flight for small groups of up to 5 people.
