Read moreTake on the crystal clear waters of the Alcantara River in Body Rafting! Equipped with wetsuit, safety helmet and life jacket, you will take on one of the most beautiful rivers of Sicily, going with the flow through the gorges of the Alcantara - a unique experience.
The body rafting takes place inside the gorges of the Alcantara River. With a duration of approximately 2 hours, the tour consists of going upstream in the Canyon, accompanied by an expert guide. You will go upstream about 600 m, using the technique of River Trekking, ie without the use of ropes or other equipment. A certain level of water skills are necessary since you walk through the river, where you will need to jump, climb and do short stretches of swimming. All in complete safety, accompanied by a certified CONI guide.Meeting time: 10:30

Equipment

- Free parking is available.
- A pick-up service from Taormina / Giardini Naxos, Catania or Messina is available and can be purchased as an extra during booking.

- From Catania: take the A18 motorway towards Messina, exit at Giardini Naxos, then continue along State Road 185 towards Francavilla di Sicilia.
- From Messina: take the A18 motorway towards Catania, exit at Giardini Naxos, then continue along State Road 185 towards Francavilla di Sicilia.
- How to get there by public transport
- From Catania or Messina, you can reach Giardini Naxos by train or bus. From Giardini Naxos, continue by local bus (Interbus) towards Francavilla di Sicilia / Alcantara Gorges.
