Read moreFace the pristine waters of the Alcantara River in the nude. You will challenge one of Sicily’s most spectacular waterways, among deep gorges and natural pools, letting yourself be carried by the Alcantara’s currents flowing between volcanic rock.
During the tour, you will hike upstream for about 600 meters using River Trekking techniques, without ropes or additional equipment. A good swimming ability is required, as you will walk in water, dive, climb short sections, and propel yourself with strokes. All of this is done safely, accompanied by a CONI-certified guide.

Equipment
- Equip yourselves with a bottle of water, a snack, and clothing to put under the wetsuit (underwear, socks and T-shirt).

- Free parking is available.
- A pick-up service from Taormina / Giardini Naxos, Catania or Messina is available and can be purchased as an extra during booking.

- From Catania: take the A18 motorway towards Messina, exit at Giardini Naxos, then continue along State Road 185 towards Francavilla di Sicilia.
- From Messina: take the A18 motorway towards Catania, exit at Giardini Naxos, then continue along State Road 185 towards Francavilla di Sicilia.
- How to get there by public transport
- From Catania or Messina, you can reach Giardini Naxos by train or bus. From Giardini Naxos, continue by local bus (Interbus) towards Francavilla di Sicilia / Alcantara Gorges.
