Spend a half a day together with the Chef of one of the oldest restaurants in Taormina to know all the secrets of pizza! Cooking class to learn how to prepare the pizza, in the center of Taormina.
The lesson will take place in a restaurant-pizzeria downtown in Taormina. You will watch a professional pizza chef working and he will disclose you all the tips to prepare a perfect pizza: kneading, rolling out, oven cooking and learning cooking times.
You will prepare your own pizza and you will taste it at the end of the lesson. Moreover, the restaurant will offer you a pizza prepared by your trainer, served with some typical starters.
The service will take place in the suggestive context of a restaurant rising on the ancient roman-greek walls palisading the town of Taormina.
Duration of the lesson: about 3 hours. -
What is included
- Cooking course about pizza making.
- A lunch or a dinner will follow and it will consist of a pizza prepared by the professional pizza maker, in addition to the pizza you made yourself. Starters included (mixed and traditional "bruschette" or other local products) water and soft drinks.
- At the beginning of the lesson, you will be equipped with notebook and pen and with the personalised apron of the restaurant. At the end of the lesson you will get your certificate of attendance signed by the Chef.

How to reach us
- By car: From Catania take the A18 motorway towards Messina and exit at Taormina. Follow signs to Porta Messina. The drive takes about 50 minutes. From Palermo take the A19 motorway towards Catania, then the A18 towards Messina. Exit at Taormina and follow signs to Porta Messina. The drive takes about 3 hours.
- By bus: From Catania take an Interbus from Catania station. Get off at Taormina Bus Terminal and walk to Porta Messina (5 minutes). From Palermo take a direct bus from Palermo (SAIS Autolinee or other operators) to Catania, then switch to an Interbus to Taormina.
