Stromboli is the volcano of the Aeolian Islands, 924 m.a.s.l. high and characterized by continuous explosive activity. We offer you a trek accompanied by an expert vulcanological guide dedicated only to your group (up to a maximum of 20 people) who will lead you up to 400 meters in altitude in almost 3 hours!
The excursion will begin from the church of San Vincenzo square. The departure time varies according to the season and is agreed directly with the vulcanological guide (generally 3 hours before sunset). You will take approximately 2.5/3.0 hours to reach the 400-meter altitude. During the climb, you will admire the typical Mediterranean flora with shades ranging from intense green to the warm tones of the lava that has solidified over the years, becoming one with the natural context of the island. The excursion includes a stop almost every 30 minutes, which will allow you to rest and admire the panorama. You will be amazed by the combination of elements that merge: sky, earth, water, and fire and enjoy the explosions of Stromboli, one of the most intense and exciting natural spectacles in the world, with the darkness of the night!

Duration: Approximately 5 hours, 2.5/3 hours of ascent and 1.5/2 hours of descent.

Equipment
- Trekking shoes and a flashlight with alkaline batteries are mandatory equipment.
- For a more comfortable experience we advise you to have what follows with you: backpack, sweatshirt, windproof jacket, short for the climb and long trousers for the descent in the sand, two extra t-shirts, handkerchief (to protect eyes/mouth from the dust), water (depending on season), sandwiches, chocolate or dried fruits.
