Wine Tasting in a Cellar in Castiglione di Sicilia

You will visit the vineyards and the Cellar Cottanera, one of the most well-known wine producers located on Mt 'Etna. The company is located in Castiglione di Sicilia, immersed in a fascinating volcanic background that characterizes the wines and panoramic views unique in the world.
The volcanic soil rich in clay, the altitude and the particular climate characterized by extreme temperature changes, create a terroir much appreciated, which translates into an exclusive wine, featuring clear mineral notes.
The farm grows native and international grape varieties and is involved in all stages of the production of the wines, from picking to bottling, blending tradition and innovation.


The top of your visit will be achieved with the tasting of red and white wines coming from the Mount Etna. You will have the right to judge them fully! The tasting will be accompanied by a selection of Etna cheeses and jams, olives and sun-dried tomatoes, wood-fired bread, and olive oil made from Nocellara Etnea olives grown on the estate for decades.
