Ortigia: Private Cooking Class, Market Visit and Lunch

Enjoy a unique voyage into the discovery of the secrets of true Sicilian cuisine. Accompanied by the chef, you will visit the historic fish market of Ortigia and together you will buy the necessary raw materials for your cooking class. If you're not already familiar with the fish markets of Sicily, you will be fascinated by the very special atmosphere: colours and fragrances mingle with the shouts and banter of the vendors, a scene seemingly of another time. During the visit of the fish market, you will taste some of our local products.
In the kitchen, just in front of the Porto Grande of Syracuse, the chef will guide you through the creation of a typical Sicilian menu (first course, main course, side dish, dessert). The chef will happily explain the dishes and techniques used for the preparation of the various recipes.
The experience will close with a lunch, during which you will taste all the dishes prepared during the cooking class.
